Clinical Research Coordinator
Victor de la Cruz Matos is a clinical research coordinator on Dr. Vijayaraghavan's team. He was born and raised in Lima, Peru. He has experience working as a Health Educator and Research Assistant with both community-based organizations and academic research teams. His research interests include understanding the cancer experience, coping and survivorship, and the biopsychosocial factors that influence cancer outcomes. He is also committed to studying health disparities in underserved populations, especially barriers to accessing healthcare and health information. In the future, he plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, playing soccer, and spending time with my family.
